Julian Grady
Julian Grady is a junior at Emerson College, majoring in Media Arts Production. He is focusing on Cinematography and Producing. Julian also enjoys directing and writing. He worked as a Director of Photography on a number of shorts, as well as gaffing, working as a grip, and producing other projects. He has also worked as a Production Assistant on a number of Independent Features, as well as being an intern at Nice Dissolve, a post-production house. He also helps out at Factory 25, a distribution company. Julian wants to develop stories that emphasize authenticity and diverse voices. He is proud to be the founder of Lanky Orangutan.
Rachel Blackman
Rachel Blackman is a junior at Emerson College, majoring in Media Arts Production. With a background primarily in screenwriting, Rachel strives to bring forward stories that represent the Queer community, with the goal of showcasing and celebrating all facets of Queer life. Rachel has written for magazines and the EVVY awards, is currently Executive Producing a miniseries that she co-wrote and co-directed. She has also produced a music video, and is Associate and Executive Producing several thesis films. When she’s not writing or producing, Rachel is typically on student BA and BFA sets as Grip or Script Supervisor. She is very proud to be part of the creative team behind the development of Lanky Orangutan Media and is excited about developing new visual storytelling projects.
Luke arvia
Luke Arvia is a junior at Emerson College, majoring in Media Arts Production. With a background in writing and directing, Luke is passionate about crafting authentic stories that explore friendship, memory, and community. He is especially interested in how small, personal moments can resonate on a larger emotional scale. With a primary focus on editing, he brings a thoughtful and narrative-driven approach to post-production, and has also worked as a writer and director on various independent short films. Previously, he built an audience of over 200,000 subscribers through his storytelling on YouTube. He is proud to be a part of Lanky Orangutan and looks forward to continuing to tell heartfelt, meaningful stories through the company.
